Overall, I really enjoy Avorion.

I really enjoy the customizability and sheer uniqueness that both the auto-generated and workshop designed spaceships and stations can bring to the table. Some people have even made ships that dock against each other, creating mega-ships that just stay locked and support each other.

Some games favor one playstyle like trader or pirate or murderhobo over the others, but in Avorion legitimately any play style can work very well in both making money, becoming overpowered and even breaking the game in various ways.

As for detracting factors, the game can slow down with multiple very large ships in an area, taxing both a server if in multiplayer, and any players in the area.

Large AI battle fleets spawning in can run the risk of either locking up an area as a dozen or more ships are generated and spawn in and the game hangs unresponsively until that finishes after a few seconds, to taking a minute or longer to load into a new system because there's already a huge AI battle ongoing. Sometimes finding specific trade materials sucks, for either turret crafting or trading. Some materials are very rare by nature and finding a place where you can buy them is actually a good use for the ingame solar system note system.

All in all, a very fun game and lots of scaling potential from exploring the stars from a small scout to a titanic multi-ship megaship. Control stations and systems with an iron fist or stripmine them and move on in search of more materials. Found a trading empire, alliance, or even tear down empires, there's nothing you really can't do.

This game is like Cocaine for me, I love the whole idea of creating your own ships, fleet and stations.

So few games on the space genre, and even less take it this way.

Thanks for making this game, please keep making new content, I need my dopamine.
