I am a huge fan of Armello. I also for many years have been a fan of ROBOTECH MACROSS saga and also Game Mastered the ROBOTECH RPG by Palladium Books.

Jumplight Odyssey was an instant flashback to those old memories of sci-fi anime, and RPG experiences with running the ROBOTECH RPG.

Also a Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica OS fan. This game was a love letter to those nostalgic IPs. I bought it as soon as I could afford it.

It's just an unfortunate shame that development couldn't continue. This infuriates me with the Gaming Industry when AAA studios keep churning out the same copy and paste formulas of games, and then a special unique innovative attempt like Jumplight ODYSSEY comes out.

I am saddened to hear that the dev plans had to be cut short. I wish sometimes that I could program. I would surely devote some hours to continuing the development of this game. I even had some cool ideas that if only there was MOD SUPPORT for this game. I am sure we could have some really interesting game options available.

This game also has a very reminiscent vibe to somewhat of FTL. Also a colony sim. I remember owning the game SPACE COLONY which also was another great game.

It's so sad when games really have an incredible concept and have amazing potential to be developed to greatness. Then due to lack of funding and monetary resources that something as special as this, ends up having to be left to drift.

I also am a KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM fan, and also devastated at the bold attempt for KSP2.

I don't understand why the games that really deserve the support don't seem to get it. If I could I would love to buy the rights or I don't know start an initiative to try and resurrect this game.

I would love to help make this game really be special.

I really think people should support this as this is a very unique innovative game in the sci-fi colony survival genres.

I only hope that some time that someone can reinvigorate life into this project.. This game truthfully needs to be finished.

I am grateful they patched the game as best they can before they had to let it go.

Worth playing and enjoying even if it's not properly finished. These are the types of games that need to fully be seen to the end. Wish this could happen to these types of games.

The games that are excessive and overpriced cash grabs should be the ones failing. NOT THIS ONE!

I feel this game needs to be experienced regardless of its completion state. It serves as an example to what a potential good project can evolve into. I would love to have seen this one fully developed because I think it deserves to be.

I hope the original team sees my comment and perhaps in time, be inspired to either try and continue this project or allow me an opportunity to try and see if I can make this game actually full release.

It needs it badly. This game is too precious to be abandoned.

I am considering ideas for a concept of my own very inspired by this one.

Development and Quality takes time to develop. It's too bad this one didn't get the chance it deserved.

It despite this, deserves to be appreciated and still enjoyed.

I am usually all for early access games. The enjoyment of sharing problem's, bugs and learning early stuff and seeing the game progress and change with time. However, the League of Geeks decide to put this game in indefinite hiatus and to work on their other Moba style games. Which according to most of those players say those games are broken. This is basically as bad as Bungie to its Destiny 2, but atleast it got finished and had a team that would try to work on it. This team more or less gave up before reaching .5 patch.

What they left behind:

A bunch of bugs and barely much explain
No means for others to help this game fix said current bugs and problems.
hints and idea's of what this game could have unlocked if it had time to reach release of 1.0
Years of no word of coming back.

Honestly, League of Geeks is fast tracking to shutting down.
