Alejandro rocks into battle as one of HLH's most unique characters gameplay-wise. Similar to Nurse he is a 100% support-oriented unit, but with a twist.

Alejandro has two modes, Idle Mode (when in the back position), and Rocker Mode (when in the center or front of the formation).

In Rocker Mode Alejandro can cut damage to all allies in half or double the attack power of all his teammates , but such strong boosts come at a cost. Staying in Rocker Mode for too long will cause Alejandro to lose sanity and eventually the demon that possesses Alejandro will drain your team's HP. Switching Alejandro to Idle Mode will cause his sanity to return.

This mechanic makes Alejandro unique in that he is the first unit that is specifically designed for active gameplay, suitable for challenges and other battles where you're commanding your squad rather than letting them battle entirely on their own.

Alejandro is available in v6.11 and can be recruited by first completing 20 requests or more.

Following the arrival of Zu and Goblin, Magmor stomps into battle.

A descendant of dragons, Magmor is a bulky fire-type unit capable of tanking hits and dealing out devastating attacks.

Base HP: 170 / Base Attack: 16 / Attack Cooldown: 6

Magmor's signature move, Tremor, deals 4x damage with a cooldown of 90 seconds. This powerful attack hits all units on the field, both ally and enemy, so be careful when using it.

Also new in v6.9 is the ability to hire sidekicks before starting a standard dungeon in Tower Climb.

Hey guys, here's a quick rundown of what's planned for HLH from now through the summer. Updates will be released gradually.

6 New Monster Units

2 new units, Zu and Goblin, came to HLH a short while ago. 6 additional monster units will be released, approximately 1 every 2 weeks, for the coming months.

New Hero Units

Mist (the ninja seen on the loading screens), Mr. Amazing, and more will join the fray.
Changing Dungeons

Once the new monster units are released, an update will make it so that dungeons have different enemies every day of the week. This means that the enemies you encounter if you play on Monday will be a bit different from the ones you'll encounter on Wednesday, and different from the ones on Friday, etc.

Hire Sidekicks

With this update you'll be able to spend XP to begin a Tower Climb run with sidekicks rather than needing to acquire sidekicks during the run.

Anything else you'd like to see?

-Added first set of new units, Zu and Goblin
-Added party size mechanic which affects item cooldown

-Items reworked
-Fallen units can now be revived in-battle
-Equipment screen redone
-Unit portraits shown on special move icons to help with move selection

8 new units are coming to HLH this spring, adding variety to the enemies you'll see during your expeditions. Each day of the week enemy parties will be a bit different than the day before.

Want to start from scratch? If you've been playing for a while you may want a fresh start since new features are constantly being added. Or maybe you want to try out different setups without committing in your main save. Now you can have up to 5 saves.


In one of my favorite recent updates, units can now be given archetypes which are specific behaviors that further customize the way your team battles.

• Leader - all status effects applied to this unit are passed on to all teammates
  
• Defender - unit is unable to use regular attacks but takes 60% less damage
  
• Berserker - unit is unable to use special attacks but critical hit rate is increased by +10%
  
• Gadgeteer - using items instantly readies this unit's special attacks
  
• Medic - unit heals weakest teammate each turn but becomes unable to use regular attacks
  
• Survivor - unit survives with 1 hp and gains 15 seconds invincibility when hp > 1 and hit by an attack that would k.o.
  
• Apprentice - unit is unable to use regular attacks but gains 2x exp
  
• Rusher - unit deals and receives 30% more damage
  
• Ghost - unit won't be targeted by enemies unless there are no other possible targets
  
• Lone wolf - attack +50% when this unit is the only active hero in the party

Archetypes are unlocked by logging in. They can be assigned to units from the Party menu or by right-clicking in battle and selecting an archetype from the details panel.


Previously you were limited to 5 requests per day. Now you can take on an unlimited number of requests which means tons of loot and rewards are at your fingertips to speed up your progression.
