Following community feedback, we’ve decided to rework the fetching behavior of the blue pig. The pig should now be more actively participating in collecting items for the players:

• If an item is present in his basket, the blue pig will make an effort to collect this type of item whether he is following a player or asked to sit.
  
• When the blue pig is asked to sit, he will actively fetch any item in his vicinity if his basket isn’t full (previously an item would be fetched only if that type was already present in the basket).

We included two UI tweaks that were suggested by the community:

• Added the current day number at the bottom of the shack’s reputation menu (pause menu) to be able to track your progress without having to return to the main menu.
  
• Added reward names granted from reputation levels to the mail letters and the pause menu for better legibility (previously only the icon was shown).

Other fixes:

• Fixed an issue where some NPCs' hats and other accessories wouldn't be included in their outline highlight.
  
• Fixed lumberjack being upright for the client while being down for the server at the beginning of Chasse Galerie quest.
  
• Fixed an issue where WASD movement keys didn't properly display in the tutorial message due to adding arrow keys as alternate controls in patch 1.0.13.

Patch 1.0.13 is out now!

Here is the full list of changes in this patch:

• QoL : Added additional default keys to move the character for left handed players (Left, Right, Up, Down arrows).
  
• QoL : When opening the Shack for a long time, NPCs will stay to eat longer until the shack closes or the boat calls them back.
  
• QoL : Added a new zoom level in the world atlas to be able to zoom out more and see tiles further on the edges.
  
• Fixed an issue where sometimes sleeping would skip 2 days.
  
• Fixed a naming error for fences : white fences were brown fences and vice-versa.
  
• Fixed an issue where the basket would have incorrect lighting when loading a game.
  
• Fixed an issue where talking to an NPCs would not stop him and the NPC would keep talking while walking.
  
• Fixed a crash due to snow on coop games and sometimes in standalone games.
  
• Increased snowfall overnight and increased it significantly when snowing
  
• Fixed garden, road and similar amenities being buried under snow
  
• Fixed NPCs sometime staying stuck inside the shack after eating
  
• Fixed NPCs sometime being stuck inside one another

We made a hotfix to prevent crashes in multiplayer games for non-host players due to the snow replication fixed we have added last patch (1.0.12). We will investigate next week what is really happening to introduce a correct fix.

Patch 1.0.12 is out now!

We’ve been listening to player feedback since launch and one of the elements that was brought up was that sometimes the controls felt a bit clunky or didn’t match with the object the player intended to interact with. We’ve implemented a new aim outline that will automatically highlight interactable objects in front of your character.

This should make it much clearer which object you’re about to interact with and make the experience much more enjoyable. You can see below the feature in effect. In case you would prefer to play without the outline, it can also be disabled in the options menu.

• Added option to disable aim outline in the options menu, under “aim outline”.

• Fixed key bindings being reset after restarting the game. Binding changes should now properly be permanent.
