gay ass game

Great story, art direction, and an amazing first 2/3rds but I really feel like the latter part drags on too much but pushing through it is rewarding enough. The game has a really interesting combat system and the levels in the beginning weave story into them to a nice degree where the levels feel engaging and interesting. I do think it does take a pretty big hit on the 3rd boss, maybe that style of boss just really soured me but the theme, story, and what the protagonist should do become really clear since even a bit before that point and the next two areas were kind of slogs even though the characters that were involved in those areas are really interesting. I'd highly recommend going for the best ending which I think is fairly obvious since the narrative's theme pushes in this direction quite early on. I recommend it because there's one other ending that's funny but not as satisfying, one that just sucks but should be easy to avoid, and anything else just feels like a watered down version of the best.

Really not trying to make it look like I'm ripping into the game, I think it's quickly apparent what's great about this game and that is totally worth enjoying, so yes you should get this game.
