Nothing lasts forever, especially companies, and we are no exception. We've been making and updating our Christmas Live Wallpaper in one form or another since 2011, that's over a decade. It's far longer than we ever imagined at the time. But sadly it's no longer viable now, and hasn't been for a while, and so it's finally time to hang up our reindeer antlers & Santa hats one last time.

I'm not sure there's ever a good way to close, but we've picked the quietest time of the year for a seasonal app like ours, and we'll answer any support email we get and try to help out with any questions, just as we have been doing. So in many ways nothing changes really, except it will no longer be available for new people.

As a retired app, it will remain in owners' Steam libraries, you'll continue to be able to download, install, and launch the app just as before. And I hope you'll continue to enjoy the app for many Christmasses into the future.

We've put a lot of hard work into it, more than most people realise, and it's sad to let it go, but all good things must come to an end.

We've been blessed with a wonderful community, and had many thousands of wonderful heartfelt messages over the years, stories of how the app has touched them or got their kids super excited, and some I just don't have the heart to relay. The app might have bottled a little spark of Christmas magic, but it's been the human contact and warmth from people we've received over the years that has been the real spirit of Christmas. This is what I will most remember, and miss. Thank you all! :)
