[RTS Festival] ‘The Touhou Empires’ DEMO Version is Here!

Hello, everyone!
We are the development team "Neetpia" for ‘The Touhou Empires’.

To coincide with the Steam Real-Time Strategy Festival taking place from January 21 to 28, the DEMO version of our title is now available!

We are continuously refining and polishing the game for its release later this year.
We are eager to hear your feedback and opinions, so please share them in our community or join us on Discord!

⚔ New Features & Improvements ⚔

Improved gameplay and controls.
Added intermissions to Story Mode.
Ranked matches planned for Online Mode.
(Please check Discord for the RTS Festival schedule.)

⚔ Modes and Characters Available in This Demo ⚔

In this version, you can play the following modes:

Alice’s Art of War: A mission mode where you clear assigned challenges.
Story Mode: Playable up to Chapter 3.
Battle Mode: A multiplayer mode with up to 6 players in chaotic battles.
Please note that this is a demo version still in development. Therefore, features in various modes, including Battle Mode, are limited.

The available factions (civilizations) are:
・Hakurei Shrine
・Kishinjou
(You can control heroines associated with each civilization.)
Additionally, the only selectable map is Grasslands.

(In the full version, we plan to include online battles between players, around 40 playable characters, 12 civilizations, and approximately 8 maps.)

Although this is an early version, we aim to improve its quality by incorporating your feedback.

【TGS2024】MOD Feature Demo for 'The Touhou Survivors' !?

Hello everyone, This is Neetpia, the development team behind The Touhou Empires.

It's been four months since our last announcement, and time has flown by quickly.

Now, we are excited to share that at the "Tokyo Game Show 2024," we will be showcasing a playable demo at the Phoenixx booth (Hall 9, C30).

This demo is a bit special because it offers a sneak peek at the MOD feature we plan to implement in the future. Imagine something like this—let’s call it The Touhou Survivors.

As we aim to offer as much flexibility as possible with the MOD implementation, we ask for your continued patience during development. Please note that it's still undecided whether this will be released as a Steam demo.

Additionally, we regret to announce that we are changing the release year from 2024 to 2025. We apologize for the delay, but the official release date announcement shouldn’t be too far off... hopefully!

We sincerely apologize to everyone eagerly awaiting the game and appreciate your understanding.

suggestion: trailers narrated from the perspective of the characters

with their respective voice actresses and actors. imo, that would be more attractive for "otaku people" and anime fans in general. the trailers available are functional, and help to get more or less how the game works, but not well enough, and also feels that the touhou characters were a "second thought" for devs. I would like to see more anime rts and tactics games, so i would like this game to do well....

Important for Devs: Age Rating! [Please Read!]

Dear game developer, As of November 15, 2024, your game will no longer be visible in Germany due to a missing age rating. This will be implemented by Steam on that day, in accordance with the law. Please note, the changes apply to Brazillian too. Take note, this not an advertisment, instead it is an user initiative to save all kind of games.
