It's been four months since our last announcement, and time has flown by quickly.

Now, we are excited to share that at the "Tokyo Game Show 2024," we will be showcasing a playable demo at the Phoenixx booth (Hall 9, C30).

This demo is a bit special because it offers a sneak peek at the MOD feature we plan to implement in the future. Imagine something like this—let’s call it The Touhou Survivors.

As we aim to offer as much flexibility as possible with the MOD implementation, we ask for your continued patience during development. Please note that it's still undecided whether this will be released as a Steam demo.

Additionally, we regret to announce that we are changing the release year from 2024 to 2025. We apologize for the delay, but the official release date announcement shouldn’t be too far off... hopefully!

We sincerely apologize to everyone eagerly awaiting the game and appreciate your understanding.

With permission from the familiar company Gift, known for the "Touhou Project" plush series,
we have decided to collaborate with the "Gift Touhou FumoFumo Plush Series" illustrated by Neji !

The "Gift Touhou FumoFumo Plush Series is not only popular in Japan but also overseas, especially in English-speaking countries, where it is frequently posted on social media as a classic internet meme, with dedicated communities. In the full version of our game, three characters - "FumoFumo Reimu." "FumoFumo Marisa." and "FumoFumo Alice." - will each have their own dedicated models and appear in the game! Additionally, in the online test to be held this time, the very first stage of the story mode (Episode 0) will change, allowing you to use the "FumoFumo" characters!

Furthermore, the music for this "FumoFumo Stage" will be handled by Yuka Kitamura, known for composing for "Elden Ring" and "Dark Souls III"! You can enjoy a cute sound unique to this game, completely different from the dark world of Elden Ring, for a limited 24 hours. Don't miss this chance and give the story mode a try!

In the demo version to be conducted this time, you can play the following three modes:

★ "Battle Mode" (Online), where up to 6 players can battle each other.
・"Alice's Tactics," a mission mode where you clear given tasks.
・"Story Mode," where you can play up to Episode 3.
※ In this limited event, Episode 0 will change, and you'll be able to play with the "FumoFumo" characters!

In preparation for the completion of "The Touhou Empires," we would like everyone to participate eagerly in online battles!

While the full version is planned to implement a mode where players from around the world can simultaneously battle with up to 6 players, this time's test will offer a demo version where you can try out the "online battle" on Steam for a limited 24 hours!

The completed version is scheduled to increase the number of playable characters to about 40, the selectable factions to about 12, and the number of maps to about 8. But for now, please play this demo version and get a grasp of the gameplay!

Although the current version is still under development,
we aim to improve its completion with your feedback.
We are looking forward to hearing from those who think they can provide valuable opinions.

In this version, you can enjoy the following modes:

・Mission mode "Alice’s Art of War" where you clear challenges
・"Story Mode" playable up to Chapter 3
・"Battle Mode" where up to six players engage in combat (currently CPU battles only, and the selectable faction is limited to the "Hakurei Shrine")

Since this is a demo version under development, the "Battle Mode" is limited to "CPU battles" only. The available faction (civilization) is limited to "One faction of the Hakurei Shrine," and you can control up to "Three heroines of the Hakurei Shrine."

The selectable map is only "Grassland."

(In the final version, there will be online battles between users, around 40 playable characters, approximately 12 selectable factions, and up to 8 maps.)

Though it is still a work in progress, we aim to improve the completeness by incorporating your feedback.
