I found a program that allows old games to be played online. It supports some games. One of them is War Wind 2. If anyone wants, write an answer. I tried with one, it worked.

Loved the first game as a kid, never played the second. I must say, I don't really care for the premise. Four of the OG factions got merged into two? Human get a whole two factions? Why in the world? Surely humans could've just been a fifth faction. Would've tried it for free, but this setting is just so uninteresting to me. How does the gameplay/story/whatever else compare to the first game?...

and wenn Im trying to open it from the task bar, it barely shows a black box flashing once and you can briefly read "game is paused". What to do? Direct Play is installed.
