I'm unsure if I should recommend this game or not.

In a nutshell, the game is really addictive and fun. It's probably one of the better deck-building games on Steam, honestly. However, once you reach a certain level, it becomes pay-to-win. You will enjoy it for a while, but eventually, the difficulty spikes when facing online players with paid decks.

One workaround is to keep restarting at level one to avoid these impossible battles. Recently, I encountered a card that was so broken and realized I could only get it by spending money. Using the "free" shards as currency isn't realistic. To have the best chance of obtaining this card, I'd need to shell out real money.

So, enjoy the game at the beginning, but be prepared for frustration later on when the odds become stacked against you.
