Because Steam reviews are binary yes/no I would say this is more of a no than yes. Fun, but not worth the price yet even on sale ($20 atm) nor its review rating especially - it's 1% from overwhelmingly positive right now. I am having fun with this purely because the core gameplay idea is fun and currently the only real competition in this genre that exists is... War Thunder that is its own can of worms.

But even in my limited time I saw how absolutely stupid the AI can be (friendly and enemy). Pathfinding is a joke - friendlies that are supposed to attack an objective go off speeding in different directions with most of them getting stuck in the woods IN ALMOST EVERY MISSION THAT IS NOT JUST A STRAIGHT LINE THROUGH A FIELD and you have to come back to push them through the trees so you're not just a lone Bradley facing off a tank division.

I EVEN HAD A FRIENDLY ARMORED CARRIER JUST GIVE UP ON LIFE AND START REVERSING EXTREMELY SLOWLY TOWARDS THE OBJECTIVE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRIED PUSHING IT TO TURN IT AROUND.

Enemies are mostly stationary (except for missions with scripted attacks), but when they're not scripted to be in a cool and defensible trench they are just waiting in ambush sometimes with their armed and armored front hidden behind a house AND THEIR WHOLE UNPROTECTED BACK STICKING OUT LIKE "I can't see you, so you can't see me". Keep in mind I'm not complaining that *AI defends when defending* but that it just doesn't do anything except sit in ?probably? predetermined ambushes, and it doesn't seem to react when my angle of attack means that their ambush is useless. Surprisingly often you will miss that one vehicle sitting in its useless ambush and blocking your capture while you're driving around the last capture zone for multiple minutes growing more frustrated and less careful wondering where the hell it is. Best case it ruins the pacing of the mission and victory is quite a bit less dramatic when you finally find it. Worst case it picks you off with a lucky shot on your fifth patrol through the zone and sours the whole mission (this is the only occasion when losing is not fun in this game - normal combat deaths always seem fair)

Even worse, when shooting at them in their ambush (of the wrong way) they very often do not react at all when TOW missiles and cannon rounds are raining at them just because their sight line from the turret is blocked by a bit of forest.

Sooooo..... saying all this. I will still continue playing this game and having a fair time. Partly because when it works it works amazingly, and partly there is no other real alternative. I wish the studio all the best, and if not apparent from the rest of the review I really wish they have some major AI reworks in the pipeline soon, so I can change this review to positive like I really want to.

Solid & cinematographic simulation in the lane of classic "Armored Fist 2" (on arcadey side, with intuitive wasd controls). Campaign is not fully developed, it's on the way. Many scenarios, really powerful soundscape, nice visuals. The only shortcoming - no destruction of fences & other structures, they just have no hitboxes.

This is the game I wanted when I started playing games like World of Tanks and War Thunder. I stopped playing those games because it didn't give me this type experience. The game is not perfect by any means but even in alpha it is already a very good game and worth the money I spent on it.

god this game's voice acting is enough to immerse you into the experience, good thing there's a really fun game that goes with it too!
