Younger and unloved sibling to Medieval Dynasty. I love the concept, Japan, buildings... but there are a lot of bugs and optimalisation doesn't exist in the game. The game graphics aren't top, but my PC feels like it is... At this time I do not recommend.

Hey there out there, I hope you are doing well in this crazy world we live in. Here is another opinionated review:

I've played this game prior to the latest update, and a bit after. I have to say, the dev's have definitely fixed some of the "jank" I was experiencing with the game. The game was still good enough to look past the "jank". The combat system was smooth, and now it's even better. You just have to find the style that works for you and stick with it. As of writing this, I'm only about 12 hrs in, and that seems the beginning still. I like how the shrines give you a boost, I'm just not sure if it's possible to hit all of them for a crazy fast boost. I guess I'll figure it out when I explore more of the map. I find the map very large. It's nice and there are some interesting places to explore. I can't really say much right now, as I've only liberated one area. The town building is definitely like another Dynasty game. The workers and what not are fun, I just find you need to go slow so that you don't outpace the needs, and then end up in a race to always deal with them. I'm aiming for a self-sufficient town so that I can go and explore.

Anyways, should you buy? I know I'm going to get 100+ out of this game as it is. So on sale or not, you are going to get your value in time. The game is addicting and if you look past some jank, it's a charming fun game with a mix of RPG, town building, rebuilding shrines, bridges, etc. From my perspective, this game has been a lot of fun, and I keep looking forward to the next session where a bear comes out of no where and kills you as you are exploring. Watch out for those hostile animals!

This is a fantastic game. You can coop with friends and build.

There are many many quests.

There is so much to see in the world and long term goals.

The world is beautiful!
