I have tried everything and every time I get to the same spot in the game it crashes. Steam would not let me return it since I played more than 2 hours.

An excellent remake of a classic game.
Dead Space is a masterclass in how to create tension and atmosphere in a video game. The necromorphs are terrifying and every room of the USG Ishimura is packed with so much detail thanks to the impressive graphics. Everything is so slimy and disgusting, this is a game you can smell.
Sound design is excellent too, i'm creeping around on edge even when there's no monsters trying to eat my face.

The original version was a splatterfest but now the gore is even more over the top as there's a new "peeling" system where you blast flesh and bone from creatures depending where you shoot them as well as being able to blow their limbs off. It's gross (Awesome).
Most of the weapons are satisfying to use especially the plasma cutter and the line gun. The starting plasma cutter is so good you could finish the game with it alone. The flamethrower and pulse rifle are still useless. Setting enemies on fire just seems to make them mad.
I'm also having pretty much zero performance issues, they've done a great job with this.

Buy the game.
Kill horrible monsters.

Awesome game but EA sucks as a company and the fact that i have to 2 factor everytime i want to play the game makes me want to slit my wrists
