This patch changes the following:
- Fixed compost accepting nothing as a valid input material
- Fixed small wall solar blueprint hovering
- Balanced dandelion farming and rubber crafting

This patch changes the following:
- Removes strange lattice of terminals in the secret beta belt wreckage A
- Adds new foods to the organics storage
- Fixes the icon for organics
- Farming dandelions will now drop dandelions 100% of the time (instead of dropping potatos 50% of the time?)
- Added dandelion pickup to all variants of the gamma sibling wreckage

This patch changes the following:
- Fixes bug whereby airlock doors couldn't be built
- Fixes mushroom farms incorrectly asking for hydroponic solution instead of mushroom mix.
- Fixed a bug whereby if the inventory was full when trying to pickup compost, the compost would continue to grow - infinitely.
- Hydrogen now show the correct icon
- Organics now show the correct icon
- H2O splitter can no longer be placed on the wall - and is no longer sideways

This patch fixes the following:
- Ship not loading due to error with oven
- Visual glitch on oven

Howdy Astronauts!

Update 0.6 is now here! (finally) and contains the following changes:
- A new belt with its own biomes, new debris, wreckages, etc.
- 10 new blueprints
- 19 new recipes
- 10 new plantable foods - including 6 mushrooms
- 26 new items
- Airlocks! Create an interior to your ship and breathe!
- Foods can now be eaten without a SIP (only inside airlocks)
- New status effects
- New debris type (Liquid covered scraps)
- Hydrogen thrusters (reusable)
- Anything debris can now be hit with the crowbar to move it.
- Added Vsync button in main menu
- Fixed control binds not saving in the in-game menu
- Fixed many other things I've forgotten to write down over the past few months.

Hopefully the size of this update helps with the fact it's taken so long to make. I'll be keeping a close eye on the various feedback avenues and there's likely to be some patches out over the next few weeks to fix anything that inevitably comes up.

There's a few smaller changes I want to make such as some more furnishing blueprints and a new vertical thruster. But this update was just getting bigger and bigger and it was time to let everyone play it. You'll see these changes appear in 0.6.1.


Going forward:
There's some changes to the "branding" of the game. Most importantly, I'm going to start transitioning from the domain lifenotsupported.com to the company domain yetibytes.com. This mostly affects the support email address which is now contact@yetibytes.com. You'll also see the yetibytes logo on the splash screen when the game loads up and on the "publisher" page here on steam.

I am going to have to work on some sort of new game alongside the Life Not Supported updates from now on due to the fact the game is no longer providing enough to pay rent (and hasn't for some time). Ever since the review dip into mixed a few months ago, very few people are giving LNS a go. This does not mean I'm giving up on LNS, just that I'll be doing more. You can get notified when the next games' store page goes live by following the "publisher page" here.

Update 0.6 has been taking some time to make, but that's ok! I want the Gamma belt update to be a substantial addition to the game instead of just another small update.

So you've explored the Alpha Belt, with its planetary surveying wreckages, and the dense, icy particle field of the Beta Belt, scattered with data-relaying wreckages. It'll soon be time to venture into the Gamma Belt, where seed vaults were stored, which were ready for deployment following what would have been the terraforming stage. These vaults are passcode protected, so you'll have to do some digging around to get inside (or just hit the keypad really hard and hotwire the circuits). Speaking of seed vaults:

It's looking like there'll be 11 new types of plant to grow in Update 0.6. This will include some new plants for eating such as carrots, and some fungi to craft medicine. There'll also be new status effects that different foods can give you, such as feeling energised, well fed, and poisoned.

So for the past few weeks I've been getting airlocks to work reliably with the game's building system. You'll be able to create your own airlocks along with finding some wreckages with intact airlocks. While in an airlock, you can breathe without depleting your O2, and your oxygen storage will gradually refill. This also allows for an upgraded set of blueprints that will no longer need oxygen tanks swapping out.

Howdy Astronauts!

This update changes the following:
- Changes the pause menu to swap the "Save & Quit" button to "Save". You can now save the game without going to the menu / exiting the game.
- Added a new "performance mode" focused on allowing the game to be run on even lower spec machines.
- Added a new wreckage that can be rarely located in the Alpha Belt.
- Fixed items being stuck behind the net blueprint.
- Fixed hydroponic solution visual jittering bug in the farm blueprint.
- Optimised performance of the organics storage.
- Added collision to the content of the Large Material Holder so you can no longer get stuck inside a full holder.
- Fixed bug where debris in the beta belt would sometimes not disappear when picked up.
- Updated the Linux Version (it's been a while)

..aaand I think that wraps up this mini update. Just wanted to make a few changes quickly before taking the time to work on the 0.6 update. Next up, Gamma belt!

Howdy Astronauts!

It has been 1 whole year since Life Not Supported entered Early Access and the newest version (0.5.1.106) is now out and changes the following:
- Adds 11 equipable upgrades (Some craftable, some discoverable) This new system will give you more progression as you delve deeper into the game. Watch out, some have both positive and negative enhancements!
- New Wreckage variant for beta belt
- New debris type
- Fixed the major multiplayer bug concerning progress not replicating
- Other less noteworthy fixes

After fixing any bugs & issues that may arise from this new version, I will now be working on the next belt which contains what was left from the organic vaults. This means new seed items, farm types, and wreckages. Also as part of the new belt will be the addition of those remotely controlled blueprints I've been promising ;)
