Hi everyone,

today we are releasing a patch for Trails into Reverie which improves how the game interacts with platform achievement APIs. This should prevent performance issues in some circumstances, specifically when a large number of achievements was already unlocked.

Note that this issue surfaced due to changes in how Steam deals with repeated achievement API calls, and this change affects many of our prior releases in similar ways. We are committed to patching all affected releases, but this has taken some time, especially for cases where we need to re-build games for which we already archived various development resources.

Items being deleted from inventory upon loading save

Has anyone else encountered this issue? I noticed when loading my save that I had 0 fishing bait when the last time I played I easily had 800+. Doing some testing I found that if I collected a fishing bait, it would remain in my inventory just like you would expect. However, once you save the game and reload that same save, that item is now gone. Looking around my inventory even more, I found that all my fish that you would trade in for stuff were also gone along with every cooked unique dish (but not any...

Is it just me missing Sky and Crossbell Times...

The CS arc was a huge disappointment for me. I just really want to jump straight to trails through daybreak right now, will i miss anything if i skip trails into reverie and get back to it later?

Unlike other Trails series with story and min-max build in 50/50 ratio, this is a game with 20/80 ratio and is quite necessary to exist for those who enjoy making a bunch of party combination. This game gave us a combined roster from all Trails series and infinity dungeon. I recommend to enjoy the story on very easy or normal mode. After that, You can max out your characters (quite easy to do this) and re-run with Abyss difficulty with +100 level enemies.
