This one's a huge bummer. First of all, the check is a lie: it does not run well on Steam Deck. Unless you don't mind your fan whirring like crazy until you turn down every setting so low that the game stops being beautiful.

The combat feels really bad. I love sword combat in most games, and I tried a number of different configurations to see if I could get it to click for me, but the verbs in this game are so messy. The response to each enemy attack is color coded, so you're basically playing Simon Says rather than getting to know an enemy's attack patterns and creatively countering them with your own moveset. I can't see the path to mastery.

I really like the idea of this game, but it's such a sloggy mess to play. Maybe that's because it runs bad on Deck, or maybe because I couldn't find the right button layout. I hope to try this again if I get a PC someday, but I can't recommend it based on my bad experience so far.

Fantastic combat system that could be fleshed out and tweaked to make a longer game, as i was left wanting more.

The silly humor doesn't quite land, but doesn't detract from things too much either.

If they make another game i'll be giving it a go.

Action-packed and funny, with a unique vibe. Everything, from the music and characters to the combat and environment, is stylish and fun.
My only two problems with the game are that there isn’t more of it, and that I didn’t play it sooner.
Definitely recommend!
