the final boss is terrible. worst design of any boss ive played. theres white stuff that moves around the arena that is a 1 hit kill. you have to parry 2 orbs before you can damage them. they fly around you and with how terrible the parry window is, its frustrating as hell. after that you have to dodge a 1 hit kill from the boss. he teleports you on either side of him. you have just enough time to get away but he teleports you at the last second which makes you run right him to him and youre dead. having 2 things that kill you instantly is annoying. also when you die you have to run back to the arena which takes a minute. besides that theres 6 weapon types which seems fine but i was still using the same sword i started with bc the only thing that did more damage was a couple axes that swing a lot slower. i only found 4 swords in the entire game and one was the heaviest weapon in the entire game and had the move set of an axe. it did more damage but not enough for how slow it was. there wasnt a good weapon selection at all. the most they had to choose from was blades. there was like 8 of them but only a couple were strength and the sword did more damage and swung just as fast. theres also these things called firebrands that give you an effect after a parry. i like it but the class i chose had one where you get a sprout on the ground that healed you. i didnt see any point to changing it. also theres no map. every game should have a map but especially 2d games. this is a fine game but i would only get it on sale. its not that long, theres some problems and the final boss is really annoying.
