If you're played the previous Gungrave games this one won't disappoint you, if Overdose left a bad taste in your mouth GORE definitely will help cleanse the palette. Very good feeling game and imo the best feeling one in terms of combat, a very good amount of customisation for Grave in terms of upgrade and special moves etc.. which makes for a very fresh and super fun addition to gameplay.

My only gripe with the game is the story. Its practically pointless and doesn't add anything to the universe and can look pretty jank most of the time but the very fun gameplay makes up for that. I would also recommend changing the VO to Japanese or anything else than english unless your a fan of cheesy 2000's style voice acting from the PS1/2 era. Overall if you're looking for a fun run and gun style game this game is definitely for you.

If you like Gungrave, you'll probably like G.O.R.E. only slightly less. It misses a lot of the original game's charm, even with the half-assed cel-shaded mode, but adds a nice coat of paint over the mindless arcade action. It's a fantastic game to not think about, and if you want more Gungrave then you already know that's exactly what you're getting. Sure it could go harder on its style like the original did, but it's fun and it's still more a more original and stylish gig than a lot of other stuff you see here.
