The game crash after the of Lemonade Flashbang logo comes out

i must be missing something but i Cannot figure out how to purify something

So me and my friends just picked up the game today and other then the host, we keep getting disconnected while the fight is ending. We've tried doing different runs and reconnecting after getting DCed but no matter what we do, we either get disconnected again and only one is able to get back in or we get stuck on the reconnecting screen where we have to hard crash the game...

I unlocked a few character skins, but for the life of me I can't seem to find how to swap to them. Is there an option? Or are they just an achievement?
