I tried everything and even doubted the dials to try think of other crazy things it could be. After a long time I got it but it was sheer luck and I would like to know how was I supposed to get that answer? Nothing I saw showed me how that eventual luck (don't want to spoil) was supposed to be known without just being lucky. Now I know how to pass it but only because I remember what I did, don't what the tell is for the answer....

I can do the button part fine, but when I get to the stairs, I can't get up them no matter what I do. I watched the walkthrough, and it seems like there's no trick to it. But whether I just hold down the w key or alternate it with jumping, I can't go forward enough to not get blown off the edge. Is there something I'm missing? ...

The "watch your step" one - you indeed do have to watch your step. Puzzle 11 - "the answer is somewhere in this room" - yes, it is. Final button "you've reached the end of the demo". Unless I missed something, that's true. I liked the demo overall. That is also true. Some of the puzzles are easy, but the first two above were actually tougher because the signs were true....
