I genuinely adore the idea of a Car Mechanic Sim mixed with elements of Rally Racing, I don't think this game offers enough for me to genuinely say it's worth purchasing in it's current state.

While the lack of content could possibly be remedied in the future by simply adding more content and maybe a means of actually watching your Car hit the road (through the promised Driver Career Gameplay stuff), the very obvious AI shaped hole in the wall can just not be ignored.

That's a shame! I would LOVE to see something like this on a bigger scale, with a ton of attention to detail and some distinguishing style to it. But as per the nature of implementing AI generated content, a lot of this game ends up tasting like bland soup. (Maybe a lot more water than soup, really.)

For starters, and most notably - - This makes the stages being commented on (which in theory is super cool!) a snoozefest to actually listen to.
I understand that it's INCREDIBLY difficult to stay within a budget for your Game Dev endeavours, however - there are sites that allow you to work with amateur Voice Actors who would love to have their voice heard.

And IF there is absolutely no money for that, then there are alternatives to this.
Alternatives being - The notes are pre-recorded anyway, so why not simulate the Rally (since it serves no purpose to let them play them out right now anyway) and let the Player read a summary of the Drivers and Co-Driver's retelling before they go on to hit the Service Area.

As for the lesser evil, but still annoying - I mentioned before that I absolutely understand using AI to make placeholder assets during development. At one point people used blank textures, white boxes or simply stuff they scribbled in MS Paint. Nowadays, people would much rather fill a gap with something that looks the part as to make things seem a bit more cohesive during the early stages of Development.

HOWEVER
I have a suspicion that these assets are absolutely not placeholder and instead are meant to be finalised and here to stay.
There are incredibly easy ways for someone to throw something together that could give the game so much more personality in about the same time it takes to prompt something up with AI. Be it a Blender Render given thick outlines with funky color grading to give the illusion of printer ink or just including notes and sketches of ideas that were thrown around in the room during Development.

Additionally I want to note that it is morally bankrupt to sell a game on Steam which blatantly relies on a ton of AI Generated content and then not openly disclaiming such.

As a Developer, you are required to describe how AI is used within your game, for Pre-Generated and Live-generated content, which in turn will be displayed on the store page for your game.

If with future Updates they implement replacements for the Art and find a Voice Actor (or a different solution) for the Announcer, then I'll be more than happy to change this review into a positive one just for the Niché this game finds itself in!
But for now I simply can't.
