The game runs well for the most part and it is not a bad game. However, there are a few aspects of the game which are made to prolong/bloat the playtime significantly hence the negative feedback. I will cover some of the most annoying features of the game in my opinion, so I apologize if it feels too negative. By the way, English is not my first language, so I apologize beforehand.

Story quests and side quests can be grindy at times. There are quests which require you to gather a certain amount of money and "donate" to the NPCs. Gathering quests require a certain amount of items that can seem a bit much at times. Most are easy and can be done within 3-4 in game days, but it just a bit annoying having to do these quests all the time especially since you need those resources you gathered to expand your shop as well in a way (be it for expanding the shop directly or for making money). For example, I want to expand my shop and I need 15000 coins, yet the main quest requires me to donate 7000 to an NPC. A side quest asks me to repair the damages done by the bad guys for 3000 coins. Why do I have to pay for it when it's not my fault? Why is it even a quest? And all I get are 10 milk and honey? Another story quest asks me to buy a silverware for 3000 to bribe the official. So, in total that's 13000 coins just for story and side quest. It seems to me that it is unnecessary to implement that many quests that ask you to pay money simply for story purpose.

Making money in this game is also very slow since the customers are brain dead in addition to the weird mechanic of the game. Here's the thing, you basically run a drug store where you sell medicine and you have display tables for the items that you are selling. Which means people who come to your store should have the intention of buying medicine that are available in your store. Well, that's entirely false. Customers who enter your shop could be looking for any item except for weapon and equipment. You may put items on your display tables such as cure potion, green potion, antiseptic etc. and the customers will just ignore those and ask for something else. Now, I don’t mind if there are customers who request special items from time to time. However, this happens pretty much with every single customer making the display table worthless. In this case, why not just make the customers go to the checkout desk and ask for the item directly? Currently, if a customer requests an item, I have to put it on the display table and “wait” for the customer to take it which can take a while since they will just wander around your shop for no reason (they can only take item from display table, so I still have to put the item there). Another problem is that a lot of customers are asking for food instead of medicine. I’m running a drug store here not a restaurant. Do you expect people who go to a pharmacy to ask for pizza?

Expanding certain parts of your shop is also a grind for no logical reason in my opinion. Why does adding another patch of farmland requires me to pay the carpenter with vegetables and subsequent expansion requires even more vegetables? First patch requires tomato and the second patch requires daikon, onion, etc. Same thing with chest. First chest just some wood and a bit of money. By the fifth chest, it requires steel ingot, iron ingot and 8000 coins. It’s the same type of chest. Why does it get more expensive the more I have? It’s like by the time you have 6 chests, the total cost of those chests is even more expensive than expanding your shop for the second time which doesn’t make sense.

Combat can be a bit weird as well. Some enemy can spam attacks non-stop such as stomping your character and teleporting all around the place. Your character is only capable of simple melee attack. Yes, you can dash and dodge, but it’s not really viable considering if you have enough defense stat then you can just tank the enemy without dodging. In the end, you just tank all kinds of attack and have enough potion to restore HP. Although, the most annoying part with the combat is the durability of your equipment. They break too easily and farming for items required for repair isn’t fun considering some have really low drop-rate. It is doable, but it will be a chore considering that after every 2-3 days of full combat such as dungeon diving, you generally want to farm for those items needed for repair.

It is an okay game and it does run pretty well. However, only buy this game if you really like grindy games and the Banished from the Hero’s Party series. I wouldn’t call this farming sim considering that the farming is really simple. You’ll be spending most of your time dungeon diving and exploring the fields for materials. You run the shop if you need money and have enough materials for most items you can make although you can let one of your waifus to run the shop on their own while you do something else once they reach a certain affinity level (good for gaining passive income).
