I was really looking forward to The Chant, the premise sounded intriguing, and I was excited to dive into a unique horror experience. Unfortunately, the game left me feeling thoroughly disappointed.

The atmosphere, which should have been one of the game’s strong points, never quite hits the mark. Instead of building tension or fear, the environment feels flat, and the horror elements feel forced and underwhelming.

Gameplay-wise, the mechanics felt clunky and frustrating, with combat and exploration lacking fluidity. There were too many moments where I found myself getting stuck or feeling confused about what I was supposed to be doing, which completely broke the immersion.

Overall, The Chant didn’t deliver on the promise of an exciting and engaging horror experience. I was hoping for something much more intense and thrilling, but instead, I was left with a game that felt like a missed opportunity.

Ill attempt to give this game another go, but as of now, i dont really recommend this game

I got this game as part of a bundle a bit back and am glad I took the time to play. Its a bit short but for the price its more than worth it (My play time includes doing multiple playthroughs for achievements as well as the free expansion).

The creature designs are all fun and fairly varied the biggest limitation being the combat is limited to melee with 3 weapon types and some consumables as well as the various powers you get through out the story.

Overall I had fun with the game and enjoyed the lore/world they set up and would gladly play a sequel should one appear in the future.

Dobra gra. Nie jest to tytuł wysokobudżetowy więc ma pewne niedociągnięcia ale na promocji za kilka/kilkanaście złotych to super oferta. Graficznie jest dobrze, optymalizacja w porządku, modele ok. Muzyka też pasuje, no i pełny polski dubbing. Co do rozgrywki to jestem naprawdę miło zaskoczony. Pomysłowy system pasków zdrowia i craftingu. Kilka rodzajów przeciwników, idealne proporcje walki i eksploracji. Bardzo fajnie wymyślona ścieżka, którą prowadzi przygoda. Gra jest ogólnie dośc liniowa a teren, który zwiedzamy jest różnorodny i przemyślany. Trzymam kciuki za Brass Token I ich kolejne produkcje.
