A creative reimagining of the Heroes franchise from the now-defunct 3DO Studio, with a roster of units that faithfully adapt their much-beloved Heroes of Might and Magic III predecessor. Of particular note visuals-wise are the Town Screens, which combined with the excellent music never fail to inspire awe, and the initiative-based combat is a welcome upgrade from the turn-and-speed-based system of HOMMIII. Tribes of the East is nearly old enough to vote as of this writing, and made my Autumn 2007; while it might not be everyone's cup of tea it is nonetheless a fun and nostalgic game in its own right. Check it out, if only for the sheer awe of the many amazing visual treats and entertaining game dynamics you're in for!

After, what? 15 years Its still an enjoyable experience to return to this game. Almost everything about this game is the definition of magnum opus...Apart from RNG of course but there are workarounds.

Every faction feels unique, has different special abilites that elavates them to new highs, music, town camera and hell NAVAL decided to add SIDEGRADES to units. There wont be another game like this, atleast not in our time.
