Was the Nintendo Switch version ever patched? I heard it had a bug that caused the game to crash and prevented you from playing past a certain part of the game.

I remember gig calling people "retarded" in a majority of scenes and I feel this would be the thing they take out if it ever got rereleased. Is it still there?

PREFACE - This is not an advocacy for piracy. I own a physical copy of this game, I own an original PS2, and I have the means to copy the bios files (legally) from my ps2. Any emulation I do regarding this game is completely, 100% legal as per US copyright law. My question - is it worth to buy this? Is there anything new? Anything that makes it worthwhile over playing it on my computer via emulation?...

Anyone else been getting a black screen on startup and/or how to fix it? I can still hear the music and the menu noises but can't see anything
