This game made me mad... still beat it tho with it's flaws lmao

For what it is this game is decent, but man. Why is there a momentum loss when you take damage😭? Makes no sense and pmo

Here´s my full review that I promised after talking to Steve from tons of bits at Gamescom 2024.

First I have to say that this game is the best advent calendar ever made and I just have to give props to the developers for even coming up with this brilliant idea. Also have to mention that as somone who played the flash version of this game a few years ago I think this version is a huge upgrade. I already thought that the flash version was impressive but thanks to the added 16:9, contoller support and newly added graphics and effects, I think the experience has gotten even better. The levels are well designed and the difficulty curve is balanced really well I would say. In each level you also have to collect 24 snowflakes and also to mention are the newly added glitch collectables that are hidden in secret areas of the level´s. It increases the replay value which is a huge plus in my book.

I think I dont have much to add but just to say that I love platformers and this one was no exception.
Thanks to Nick Robinson who made that video about it 4 years ago and thanks to the developers who cared enough to preserve it. I can only recommend this one.

This is a fun platform game. Some levels are easy and some are very difficult. It takes skill and puzzle solving strategies to fully complete some stages. A lot of various mechanics and strategies make each level new and fun. With the new addition of Snowflake and Glitch Pixel Bonus Levels are true tests of skill for absolute pros. I had fun playing this as Advent Day Game as it was originally made.
