Even the name giving snowdrifts have finally found their way into Snowdriftland, as well as other upgraded decorations like snow cacti, bushes, crystals... Chubbo... Each area has something new to offer!

The backgrounds now have more depth and detail: Giant ice floes rise into the sky, trees are ripped out of the ground and massive stalactites grow from cave ceilings!

Watch out! New environmental effects have been added to the stages - like snowfall and fog. If you're lucky and pay attention you might be able to wish upon a star...

In the meantime the science team will get back to inspecting another point of interest... Maybe they'll be able to unveil the one or other... never before found... excellently hidden... Secret area?! Stay tuned for more next year!



Remember that you can prepare Mission in Snowdriftland as a present on Steam now and set a date so a lucky recipient can receive it on December 1st!

If your answer is yes, you are as cool as a snowman. If not, the new explanation of high jumps will help you to master the game better. You will encounter the new Pinku dummy in World 1 - Level 2, helping you to understand the function of high jumps.


But never say die! New breakable floes on some tricky spots will help Chubby to avoid unwanted contact with ice cold water. Avoid staying on these fragile platforms for too long as they will fall apart after a few seconds.

Have fun with these new additions, they will help your survival in Snowdriftland!


Check out the base on the map and enter the door next to Prof. Schwabbel. There you will find the backers lounge - a place where NPC's can chill, chat and do some gym time... and of course showcasing the tributes for all Kickstarter backers, who claimed this reward.

We always wanted to make Pinkumom stronger, giving her the unpredictability of a mother protecting her offspring. In this update she finally received the deserved behaviour pattern. Prepare, because now Pinkumom will be invincible! Say goodbye to the days where you could eliminate her simply with one jump on her head.

Even if you don't plan to attack her, be careful! Pinkumom is triggered already when you're coming close to her.

With this update we also wanted to make the start easier for new players. Now there are 2 new help signs adding to the Slide-Sign, which is already appearing in level 3.

Correct direction sign: This sign explains how to gain better control over Chubby when you want jump accurately.

High jump sign: One of the most important features to master difficult situations.

We hope this will help all players to enjoy Mission in Snowdriftland even more, but don't forget:

We've added a save games function to Mission in Snowdriftland. Players now are able to choose a save game slot to save their progress.

You've completed all levels and collected already all of the 576 snowflakes? Then it's time for the next challenge! Get prepared for the largest and hardest level of all:


It's huge, unforgiving and split in 4 sections, each of them recreating one of the main worlds. You can enter a new section only if you collect all 24 snowflakes of the previous one.

Be warned! The bonus level will try your patience and platformer skills sorely! :)

Only 1 week left for the mission of the year!

Time to reveal new content available in the release version:

We all knew it will happen: El Pix has stolen something - again! Nothing from human world this time, but he broke into the secret archive of UPIXO headquarters and pinched nothing less than important and historically valuable artifacts of video game history!

Chubby will find one of this important artifacts in the chest at the end of each level. Professor Schwabbel will insist on adding his two cents for each discovery.

The red ship (serving as the base) on the worldmap has been reactivated. You can enter it anytime and check the current status of rescued artifacts. You will also find a display showing the number of collected snowflakes.

In Snowdriftland reaching the end of a level is only one part of the fun. Collecting all 24 snowflakes in each level boosts the gaming experience and will demand all your platformer skills.
If you manage to collect all 576 snowflakes in the game, a huge bonus level will be unlocked as a reward and ovation for your dedication and success.
But be prepared: This one will be the largest and hardest level of all!
Please note: The bonus level will be available from December 24.

Then join our live stream with content creator NeverFaulterGaming, who will play several levels of all worlds, so you can see the revised textures, environments and backgrounds. The devs will also join the stream and reveal all details implemented over the last months.
