The Sker Ritual Post-Launch Roadmap is here! We've got a packed several months of updates and content coming your way. We hope you'll look forward to two FREE content updates that will feature: a new map, a new special weapon, new perks, a new Hardcore Easter Egg and Easter Egg music! The only paid element of our roadmap is the cosmetic dlc!

We are committed to continually improving all areas of the game including: optimisation, bug fixes, balancing and networking. PS4 and XO releases will happen, however the date is TBC at the moment. Every effort will be made to hit the content times and many more milestones, but anything can happen in game dev so dates and content are subject to change.

Above all, we want to thank you once again for supporting Sker Ritual! You've supported us throughout our Early Access journey, over the course of our 1.0 launch and we hope you'll continue to support us during our post-launch.

Hotfix Patch Notes | Crossplay Invites Fixed & More!

The patch notes you've all been waiting for! Those who have been experiencing issues with crossplay invites between Xbox and PC fret no more, as they have been fixed. Plus, many of you might be pleased to hear that the scope on the Joseph Heavy Automatic is GONE. Check out the rest of the patch notes below.

Patch v.1.0.0.20458 - 26/04/2024

BUG FIXES & UPDATES
- Added a Party Code System that can be used with cross-play enabled platforms to create private parties (PC, Xbox)
- Increased Damage of the Joseph Heavy Automatic, from 45-30 to 75-45
- Removed the obscuring scope from the Joseph Heavy Automatic
- Fixed an issue causing users to join other games or to be joined by other games while they're in online play
- Fixed many collision issues & glitches in all levels
- Fixed a bug causing the combination lock puzzle in "Cursed Lands of Lavernock" to get stuck
- Fixed a bug causing the Game Summary screen to not appear if you've been disconnected by the host
- Reduced the number of Abominations that spawn during the hidden story in "The Void" in "The Ashes of Sker Hotel"
- Increase the radius of how close you need to be next to the lamb to escort it in "Cursed Lands of Lavernock"
- Fix an issue causing duration to scale incorrectly for the "Critical Mass" miracle
- Fixed an issue causing the visual for the Shattering Edge to not appear in the Upgrade machine when upgrading
- Fixed an issue causing the environment hazards to not reset properly during the hidden story in "Deadly Lover's Fortress"
- Fixed position of the sword in the furnace in "Deadly Lover's Fortress"

CONSOLE SPECIFIC UPDATES
- Fixed an issue causing the game to run out of memory and crash on PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S
-Added the following graphics options to toggle: Volumetric Fog, Shadows, Micro Shadows, Contact Shadows, Subsurface Scattering & Blur
- PS5: Potentially Fixed an issue causing the PlayStation 5 controller to vibrate in an online game when somebody else shoots when using the "Immersive" mode

A hotfix for you, a hotfix for you and a hotfix for YOU. We're continuing to tackle bugs and issues that you're feeding back to us. Thank you for your patience as we work through these.

Patch v.1.0.0.20378 Hotfixes - 23/04/2024

BUG FIXES & UPDATES

Fixed an issue that caused the in-game camera to render at 60 frames a second even if your game is running at 300 FPS
Fixed an issue causing the footsteps to play more often if you were playing at higher than 60 FPS
Fixed an issue causing some "Kill Enemies within an area" objectives not to count if you kill a lot of enemies at once, it now counts every kill towards the credit
Fixed an issue causing the party UI to error
Fixed an issue causing matchmaking to be stuck
Fixed an issue with the Frostfire Miracle causing it to make enemies you hit quicker if you upgrade it instead of slower
Fixed an issue where using the Auto-Aim Miracle caused errors if the enemy had no head
Fixed an issue where Aim Assist using a controller would get stuck on enemies that disappear when you kill them unti you look at another enemy
Lowered volume of footsteps, will add a slider in a future patch so users can modify it

If you don't see your bug fix here, don't worry! We are determined to get as many fixed this week as possible so do keep an eye out for future patch and updates here.

i really like this game, i beat the First map in under an hour solo and had some thoughts.

There are some animations that are in some dire need of polishing up along side sound effects across the entire game. The Gameplay itself is very nice and easy to get used to. The level design is tight but unnatural in a sense that traversing it can get difficult, for example getting stuck in door ways, spawnpoints and allround clutter. The point system forces you to fight which is overly backed by resupply points throughout the maps. Life tokens is like Whos who on crack which is very nice on solo, it always gives you that other chance to develop on how to change as a player to be better but can also lead to being a handicap. This game lacks in variety, not only in weapons but in enemies and cosmetic items aswell, which screams low budget alongside keeping it simple.. depends on how you look at it.

Overall the game is a solid 7/10, great feel to the gameplay but does not look appealing in terms of animation and model variety. More maps would be nice too.
