Lost in Random boasts a truly unique and captivating art style that immerses players in an unusually quirky, lively world. The story is decently engaging and charming, and NPCs are entertaining to talk to. The game lacks mainly in its combat. As much as it tries to vary different enemy encounters, there are only a few enemy types that appear throughout the whole game, making combat slightly repetitive. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend picking up this game during a sale.

Some observations: (1) Even moves very slowly (even when running). (2) A point on the map that would indicate my exact position would be very useful.
Otherwise, the game is great, and the graphics seem to be taken out of The Nightmare Before Christmas, which I really like.

Great game that was tons of fun on the first time through and will be whenever I decide to play it again. The deck building leads to lots of options and the second time through I know I'll be able to cater the deck to the fights before I go into them. I also got lots of playtime for the cost which is always a great plus.
