one of best games by far

pros:
-the gameplay one of the best in the whole series
-story set up really good for a trilogy especially after playing rebirth
-the amount of content they put in Midgar comparing to the OG is incredible
-Tifa
-the bosses most of them are good or decent but the the bosses in Yuffie dlc are very good
-soundtrack and what else can I say, its one of the best soundtrack in gaming history
-fun minigames
-very good dlc for the story but a short one at that

cons:
-boring sidequests it feels like a repetitively. my playthrough without the sidequests was the best playthrough actually
-some of the dungeons are really bad and not fun at all especially when you visit it a second time!
-this game feels like it made for the OG players not newcomers and when I say that its because there is a lot in the story a newcomer won`t even understand e.g.( when Sephiroth show up in the beginning at the street of Midgar , the OG player would joy and jump out of the seat but a newcomer would not even know who that guy is UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF REBIRTH WHICH IS THE SECOND PART OF A TRILOGY )

overall yes I would recommend this game and its one of the best games for me
Don`t mind the hours, I played this games 100 times in the ps4 when it came out

Square Enix please grant us Rebirth in the pc

Time will tell how good the story ends up being, but as a standalone experience it's damn good. Imo it's most remarkable for how well it adapts turn-based combat mechanics to real-time gameplay.
