Space Choice is by no means refined or polished and it sure has a lot of ideas that are only half fleshed out. But if the idea is interesting people and if it works, we can try to reinvest time into it. I am guessing that it probably means that it decreases the damage going specifically to the hull from the base value of the damage. Which would mean that it is extremely good against low damage instance but high fire rate weapons.* How good is it? It's effectively impossible to figure out on my own. I beat level 1 on easy, normal, and hard mode. I still haven't received an achievement for beating level 1.

Hey, Space Choice was interesting in its blazing-fast state, and I'm glad we got to throw it into the Steam community and see the reactions. However, the game as it was, was never really the pacing we originally wanted. So we rebalanced the entire game and slowed everything down just a we bit. Ok, so I beat the end boss with a truly silly strategy, and I was wondering if others did too. After getting my butt kicked a few times, I had a match where suddenly I found myself with zero ships against him. And then he just...stopped firing. Turns out if you watch close, the final boss can not shoot at the mothership. He can only shoot at your support ships, and damage the mothership by MISSING. Which means that the faster you select ships, the faster you die. You create your own bulletstorm. ...
