Starts off really interesting but I found Charlie more annoying than anything and she's an absolutely horrible person.

The story just kind of gets worse as you go on, gameplay is decent enough but nothing too remarkable.

Can't really recommend it, I hear the original is much better so going to try that.

This is a $5 title.

Bone Totem is a point-and-click adventure game that has tedious, frustrating, and contrived puzzles. At least one solution is found only by reading walls-of-expository-text provided through a bad "journal entry" trope.

The plot is linear, level design is unenjoyably awkward, and sprites are janky. Similar games for the C64 and NES published in the early 1990s were better than Bone Totem.

Artwork and production values are otherwise good. The story had potential as a movie or novel, but it fails to land when the game mechanics are distracting.

Hands down the best point and click I've played. Top it off with excellent horror and scifi, and of course Moses. My beloved
