It has the worst level design you will ever see but that's nothing I didn't already know. I got this purely for nostalgia and to see how they did with this remaster and it's good. I have some good memories of playing this with a friend over our modems back in high school. His mom was a fat idiot so she wouldn't let him play this with me anymore when she found out it was so violent. Wherever you are Kevin, if you ever read this, seriously F your dumb fat mom lol. God she was a b-tch of a woman if there ever was one.

A bonkers remaster for a bonkers game. Nightdive didn`t have to go so hard, but they did - and then overdid it a little bit more just to be safe.

As for RoTT itself, it`s the kooky secret sequel to Wolf 3D which we didn`t deserve. A true case study in excess - and a surprisingly cohesive one, despite the randomness of its individual elements.

It really does feel like Tom Hall thought of something fun and it was fully implemented in the game 10 minutes later - no matter how unpractical or just downright nonsensical. 4 different versions of a rocket launcher? Sure. Enemies pretending to be dead? Ok. Heating up food for extra health? Sounds correct. Magical bats? Yeah man. Shrooms? Don`t mind if I do. Dog mode? Absolutely. Absolutely.

Anyway had a great time with this, and you will too. This is a fact/threat.
