Pros:
- É um álbum de músicas(muito mas muito boas por sinal) que vem junto com um jogo de luta grátis, deve ser alguma campanha de marketing, não sei
- Tem um estilo de jogo bem frenético e intenso, muito do bom, amável e adorável(possivelmente estressante tbm, mas é inevitável, é um jogo competitivo pô). Adrenalina a mil
- Tem um gráfico lindíssimo, um cenário mais lindo que o outro(só não joga no da floresta, pq se não o PC explode)
- Os chars tem estilo de jogo muito únicos e gostosos de jogar
- Tem o Chipp Zanuff nele
- É um jogo ótimo pra adentrar a franquia, mas mesmo sendo mais simples que os antecessores, ainda consegue ser bem complexozinho, ainda mais com alguns personagens mais difíceis

Contras:

- As dlcs tão custando 30 reais e o jogo uns 170
- Não tem modo sexo com a I-No
- O Asuka existe

Falando de experiências pessoais, foi um dos jogos que com certeza marcou minha vida pra sempre, me mandou de volta com força pra comunidade de jogo de luta. Na época foram os 65 reais mais bem gastos no natal de 2022. Hoje seria os 80(que é o preço que geralmente fica na promo de natal que foi quando eu comprei). E é sempre divertido jogar com os manos e ouvir essas músicas lindonas <3

This game is only a recommend for players who meet a rather specific criteria. I bought it when I saw it was on sale, but after getting in, I realized a few things that caused me to refund it. Some specific to this game, some applying to "classic" style fighting games in general.

First, totally recommend if:
- It's on sale
- You are willing to sink hundreds of hours into a handful of characters to learn
- You own a fighting game controller (Your bog standard Xbox/Console controllers make certain inputs extremely finicky and unreliable, so this will save a ton of frustration)
- You have a friend group or community you can play with consistently to keep down the bad vibes
- You already know you like fighting games (Though this wouldn't be a bad place to start!)

That said, there was a lot I didn't know going in that really rubbed me the wrong way.
Firstly, more than half the roster is locked behind microtransactions. There is no way to unlock these characters through gameplay, or any fun secret characters or anything of the sort. There aren't even boss-only characters, just usually a weirdly colored one with harder AI at the end of things like Arcade. Story mode is also just not very appealing, as it's really much the same with no actual variation in gameplay. Don't expect special modes that iterate or give cool incentives. Call me old school, but those used to be pretty regular things in old fighters I used to play, like the secret Akuma fight in street Fighter, or all the weird secret characters in Mortal Kombat.

The price really made my head spin too. Not only is more than half the characters locked away, the DLC is not exactly cheap. The base game, which I got on 50% discount, still cost me $20.00 USD. Meaning, it's usually a whopping $40. But, if you want to really get your money's worth, you should really be buying the Daredevil Edition, which when it's not on sale... Is $100 USD.

This game is not worth $100 USD.

It's either that, or you could buy the DLC separatly. If you wanted all the DLC, you'd be looking at $230+ dollars though, so again, go for the Daredevil Edition.

Even if you were very careful and only bought just the characters, you'd end up paying more than what you paid for the entire base game, which again is just lacking in value to someone like me.


As for the actual gameplay, coming from a old fight games background (Last one I really put a lotta hours into was Street fighter 4) it has the same flaws that caused me to drop the genera over time. I always loved the mindgames and skill expression that came with mastering your character's moveset and learning match ups, but the input difficulty is ultimately what made me gradually stop playing these kind of games over time and favor games that don't demand frame perfect, long-string inputs just to get your character to do the thing you want them to do. Even if you can do them, it takes an extremely long time to do them consistently, and I simply have other games where I feel my time takes me further.

At some point it becomes an accessibility issue, and if you have to spend such a long time just trying to get your chosen character to consistently do what you want them to do so you can finally get to the actual fun part of every fighting game, it just stops being worth it for most people, myself included.

A lot of modern fighting games are adopting simple input control schemes to make it more accessible to new players, and that's a good thing (Especially if you might be handicapped or have an injury) so it's disappointing that this game lacks such a feature (Even though from what I played, they actually kept the inputs pretty simple compared to other fighters).

I think the only thing that would make me pick this back up would be if I got it for free somehow. Honestly, the asking price for the base game is way too high, and the bar to entry just tall enough to filter out those who were on the fence for liking fighting games.

This was just my experience though as someone who used to really enjoy this kind of game. It's got good style, and if I didn't work a full time job and had other games I rather spend the time on, I could see myself getting really into a game like this.

Ultimately, I would not actually recommend this game to most of my friends.

It only took 3 years for them to put in Slayer, but now the game is finally good
