If you’re a wargamer and stumbled across this game, you’re going to enjoy it. It has a really smart take on North Africa, especially the logistics. It’s really easy to learn but you’ll quickly come to realize that every decision maters and each move should be carefully studied.

There are some area of improvements that I would like to see in the next game. First, for some reason you can route the enemy and send them running deep into the desert but they always have this magical ability to get resupplied and come back strong the next day. By then you have advanced 100s of miles to the next point and suddenly your out of supply because the same unit suddenly took your depot. There’s no garrison unit to leverage so it feels like you need to chase every routed unit or risk them coming back days later. I have no idea where there supplies or reinforcements are coming from. Secondly, it would be nice to have anti-air units and leaders with definable traits.

That aside, the game is really quite good and will have you entertained for long time if you enjoy these type of games. I’ve really impressed by the Developer and can’t wait to see what they do with Stalingrad.
