I loved this game so deeply that I felt like it ended too soon, however trying to make it longer would've defeated the purpose of the story so I'm fine with it. The ending is kinda sad if you understand the meaning behind it. Without adding any spoiler to this review, just allow me to say that Indika is a sort of "religious tragedy", it's often difficult to say where faith and superstition lays and I think this game wants the player to look at religion or Christianity to be more specific, from the eyes of a nun which is not totally convinced of her faith, bringing you to a bitter truth. I can't say more about the story without risking to reveal the plot or the ending so moving on to the characters, besides Indika another important character is Elaya. I felt like Elaya and Indika bonded quite a lot during the whole game and you can't help but feel for what he goes through during the whole adventure. Graphics is good, can't complain about it. Exploration is limited but you can still find some interesting religious objects around, achievements are a good way to explore the environment a bit more and the concept of faith is challenged during the whole game through conversations, events and Indika's own thoughts. Gameplay is pretty basic, do not expect much of an action except for one single chase and some cool retro style mini-games. I personally enjoyed them but I noticed that some people didn't liked this gameplay choice, I'm not sure what the difficulty is as they are rather simple. Same can be said about puzzles, I never felt the need to check a guide for that so you do not need to worry about Indika being too difficult. I completed the game 100% in 8h so if you like to rush and hate to collect achievements, Indika may prove to be a short lived experience so consider that before buying it.
