We know you might be eager to get your plush paws on Restitched, and to help tide you over during the wait we'd like to remind you that we've opened up our development journey so you can follow along with us as we build the game each month!

Starting back in December 2021, we've published a new Restitched: Recapped! development post each month. These posts offer a glimpse into our creative process and first-time development journey. In the posts, you'll see our process us as we learn, grow, and try things out!

When will we hear more about Restitched?

While we're just a hobbyist team of developers, we're doing our best to push the project forward and have already hit new milestones. We're really excited about where we're headed, and can't wait to share an official, polished update in the (hopefully near) future!

We're currently working toward a private building test, in which handpicked friends and developers will test the game's primary level editor tools. Afterward, we'll continue working on the final goals needed to produce our second official trailer for the game - which is already underway.

We'd like to thank everyone that supports us along this journey, including all you lovely folks that have wishlisted the game here on Steam. It means the world to us, and we couldn't do this without you!

With a large number of community questions regarding mod support, we've taken the time to release an in-depth statement about our stance on third-party content in Restitched.

We understand the importance of creative expression, including the desire for custom content support in Restitched. In this statement we offer more transparency into our plans and how we may take action against infringing content.

Restitched Reveal Trailer

Hello! It's been a minute. Did you miss us? Well, Stuffy certainly missed you. So much in fact, that they've decided to star in an exciting new announcement - the Restitched Reveal Trailer!

That's right, it's finally here. You can now watch the premiere trailer for Restitched! We've been working so incredibly hard for over two years to make this game for you all, and we're thrilled to finally share this new glimpse of it. We truly hope you'll enjoy what you see, and keep in mind that this doesn't yet scratch the surface of our plans for the game! We're still in pre-alpha development, so many things will change and improve with time.

Accompanying the trailer is an updated Steam store page and Restitched site page. These two platforms now include new screenshots, info, and the trailer itself. In case you've missed it, we've also updated the Restitched FAQ page recently, so there's plenty of new information to catch up on!

Will everyone be able to upload his levels to the online world?

I was wondering will everyone be able to create a level and upload it to the online world for all to play? Or will you set a limit on how many levels you can upload per day? Won't the online world be flooded with awful spam levels at one point? I do not own a PlayStation, I only played LittleBIGPlanet with my friend on his PlayStation. How did LittleBIGPlanet deal with this problem? I never saw that their online world was ever flooded with trash levels or something like that? I mean won't it be a problem...

Have you considered mod io instead of steam workshop?

Mod io should make it easier to support other platforms than steam and it might help with console releases in the future Here is a list of games that use it https://mod.io/g The game dying light 2 uses it and it supports even consoles for custom levels
