This is a surprisingly fantastic and engaging Tactical RPG. I love this genre and this is easily one of the best. It throws a lot of mechanics at you but once you get the hang of it and understand it all this is really one of the most freeing strategy games. The mastery mechanic is the real stand out function of this game and one of my favorites.

The plot and world is also very interesting and clearly a labor of love. it's visual novel presentation is presented with great art and music, and there are a lot of moving parts in the story. Each playable character feels very fleshed out and socially dynamic with one another, with their own goals, dreams, growth and tension. Easily one of my favorite RPG teams.

The most important part here is the fact that you can tell Dandylion really wanted to make this game. TROUBLESHOOTER is a game Dandylion wanted to play and a story they wanted to tell. It's very clear how much they cared and I look forward to supporting them in the future.

EDIT: I need to take the venom out of this one a bit. While I found the intricate details overwhelming, this could be a grand slam for those looking for a game to really dig into.



Starts off somewhat like XCOM, with very similar playstyles, but quickly buries combat and character progression under system after system after system after system until any and all enjoyment is stomped out.
