Forgot this game has been "in the work" for a while, anyone knows if it's still happening?

Why would anyone buy this over the 100 other shooters? You guys f-ed up not building on a solid TBS. see you in obscurity.

I loved the original Phantom Doctrine. While not without its faults, the game simply oozed atmosphere throughout both campaigns, never really letting the facade break. After having taken a look at the trailer to this "sequel", it's all I can do not to shake my head in utter disgust. To take a wonderfully unique turn based strategy game and turn into some third person tripe is just...well...it's awful. No one asked for this....
