Very fun game with a few very frustrating issues.

The gameplay itself is very fun and when the kill ceiling is rather high. Go ahead and look up some gameplay, once you learn how to play the game and get good enough it is a rather fun power fantasy. Gameplay starts up challenging but as you progress through the levels it starts to get easier.

However, there comes the problems.

The difficulty spike is rather huge. Nothing unobtainable and it's rather easy to see what you did wrong if you pay attention to the level's rules however the fact that it goes straight up on level two is a little silly. Really should go up a bit slower. Can still be challenging but my god the AI skill from level 1 to level 2 are way too different.

I think the devs might be confused what happens if your brain is stabbed as I've had plenty of enemies just walk it off. This makes sense for the skeletons/undead as... Well. They're already dead. That part I don't really have a problem with. However I've seen way too many Goblins get brained and then just get up. Sure, sometimes the stab can be a bit to the side and just goes through the (Relatively) "safest" part of the skull to stab. But I've full on buried an axe right down the middle of a Goblin's skull, no helmet or nothing, and they just get up. That's a little ridiculous. you can full on skewer a skull and they're perfectly fine. Stabbing in general can be a bit goofy but I feel like if you are able to actual stab someone's brain you should get the benefit of them dropping dead.

Weapons thrown by enemies always seem to hit you as if they gained full speed. When you throw a weapon it must have enough force to do actual damage which makes perfect sense. However enemies who throw weapons such as daggers at you seem to not need to follow this rule. If I'm standing in front of a Goblin and it throws something at me, if it just leaves the hand and hits me it should not have enough force to damage me as if it were at full speed.

Last thing is mostly minor but it still bugs me. Don't use AI voices for the guy at the temple. Not only could that job go to an actual voice actor, it just doesn't sound good. Having it just be subtitles would be so much better than the mispronunciation and weird inflection.

Overall not a bad game for the price.

This is my #1 favorite game of ALL TIME, I could literally only ask for 2 things and it'd be perfect:
- Maybe Multiplayer
- An open world RPG done right

Everything else is literally amazing and I couldn't ask for anything else.
