This game suffers from a messy layout and lackluster platforming mechanics. It’s unclear whether it aims to be a platformer or a metroidvania, but it fails to deliver on either front.

The controls feel floaty and lack precision, making movement unsatisfying. Attacks feel weak, and it’s far too easy to die. Enemies have levels, but there’s no clear guidance on where to go next. They also have disproportionate amounts of health compared to the damage you can deal, making encounters tedious. The most effective strategy is to exploit an upward attack (UP+ATTACK) to cheese your way through fights.

Scenes only trigger when you’re captured by enemies, which happens if you get too close. Unfortunately, these scenes are underwhelming. Poor lighting and foreground objects frequently obscure the action, further diminishing their appeal.

I can’t recommend this game, even at a discount. Its unpolished mechanics and frustrating design make it hard to justify any investment of time or money.
