We have today released a new update to address a number of issues that have been brought to our attention, you can find the full changelog below

• The water texture in the bathtub in the Mayor's house now displays correctly when "RTX Shadows" setting is ON.
  
• The problem of random inventory items spawning and floating inside the cage after the Attic Cage cutscene has been corrected.
  
• The issue where the first item picked in the attic cage was lost after performing 'Load Last Save' has been resolved.
  
• Players can now successfully skip cutscenes by holding the skip button at the start of any cutscene.
  
• The rendering issue with wooden planks on the ground near the Sawmill has been fixed, eliminating black lines when moving back & forth.
  
• The lift jitter during ascend/descend animations after interacting with the Lift Lever in the Church has been stabilized.
  
• The issue with the opened camera crate closing automatically and becoming unopenable when the player stands behind it with a Police NPC in front has been fixed.

• The issue preventing the opening of the door from the basement in the Late Fees DLC has been resolved.
  
• The missing background music after the player is caught by the NPC in the 'Late Fees' has been restored.
  
• The spade book now remains accessible and does not respawn on the fountain after performing Load Last Save and then getting caught by the librarian.

• The camera rotation issue after accessing the telescope in science class has been fixed.
  
• The random crashes occurring when the player roams around the school after picking the flag pole key in 'Back to School' DLC have been addressed.
  
• The issue with delayed texture loading before the start of the School Intro cutscene has been rectified.
  
• The camera obstruction by the Van during the End cutscene at School has been fixed.
  
• The Janitor now consistently maintains interest in the player and will catch them when trying prompted to.

• Cop no longer tries to look for Quentin under a non-interactive table
  
• Move freely: A/D movement is no longer blocked after using PortableDisplay before the ladder
  
• Objects no longer defy gravity in the barn
  
• Nielsen can now navigate around cupboard doors
  
• The framed photo piece above the shelf in the Neighbor’s house is firmly grounded now
  
• Be all “ears”: some sound effects have been tuned up
  
• Crane and Generator at the Sawmill have got some improvements and a touch of artistry
  
• Added alert indication when the Guest gets an alert or chases you in the Forest
  
• Wooden logs now move along with the sawmill belt when pulling the lever after placing wooden logs on a belt and selecting 'Load Last Save'
  
• Raven Brooks Forest got a visual makeover
  
• Fixed the camera moving into the capsule while running backward
  
• The Guest can no longer stop the siege
  
• The final cutscene in the forest got some fixes
  
• The barrel now falls upon throwing stones over it on loading the last save after placing it on the pressure plate
  
• The curtain holder in the Bakery on the second floor is now the right length
  
• Running speed is no longer reduced after the Nielsen catches you for the second time
  
• Street lights now render properly with "RTX Shadows" turned on. Shine bright!

• Enlarged the hitbox on the log spawner lever
  
• Wooden planks on the trolley persist after selecting 'Load Last Save' in the Forest
  
• Fixed the inability to interact with the bookshelf door lever in the Neighbor’s house after loading the save
  
• Wooden planks in the inventory no longer disappear mysteriously after selecting Load last save in Forest
  
• No more self-performing pianos in the Mayor’s house when he chases Quentin
  
• Restored the sounds of footsteps on the carpet in the Neighbor's house
  
• Save system has been optimized
  
• The Bell lever now correctly appears in its previous place after the cutscene with the falling bell after loading the last save
  
• Trees got their shiny branches back instead of black lines

• Quentin no longer gets stuck at the corner of the staircase after falling from the top
  
• The lever in the basement now functions properly if player selects 'Load Last Save' immediately after interacting with the lever
  
• Addressed the magical respawn of books on selecting 'Load Last Save' after placing them on the appropriate shelf
  
• The book trolley is back!
  
• Spade book no longer respawns on the fountain and can be picked up even after getting caught by the librarian

• Helped the janitor escape a sticky situation – he can no longer get stuck in a railing collision on the second floor
  
• Put a stop to the application crashing when you navigate towards the clock mechanism room
  
• After leaving the drone outside the school and hitting the button in the 'Principal' room to unlock the 'Dungeon' area, the drone no longer explores ‘out of the world’ dimensions

• Fly on, little buddy: fixed the drone functionality hiccup after loading the last save post-drone flight

Fixed:

• Guest no longer gets stuck while breaking barricades: watch out, Quentin, he’s now on the move!

Raven Brooks Forests

There’s nothing more relaxing than a quiet walk in the woods. The crunch of leaves beneath your feet, the soft breeze rippling through the trees, the smell of freshly cut lumber... Don’t let the seemingly impenetrable darkness or sense of being watched put you off though, it’s probably all in your head.

An Idyllic Church & graveyard

Once a renowned landmark and popular destination for townsfolk, the church and adjoining graveyard has found itself in need of a little renovation over recent years. That, alongside some strange noises from the basement and a bell that seems like it would fall at the slightest knock shouldn’t put you off visiting, however.

State-of-the-art woodcutting technology

While it might not look like much these days, this machinery (which provided much of the wood that built our quaint little town), is more than capable of providing you some high quality planks. Perfect for building platforms or boarding up your doors! It's unlikely you’ll need to do any of that, but those were the first examples that came to mind.

Peaceful solitude

Naturally, everybody needs an escape sometimes. Something to break up the monotony of running away from people because they found us lurking in their closets or petting their cat. And Raven Brooks Forest offers you just that. Solitude, quiet and time to reflect, maybe even do a little bird watching.

(We must also stress that recent reports of a strange cloaked figure seen lurking throughout the woods are probably completely unfounded.)
