Saving the world? That's boring. Playing an evil lord and parodying the fantasy genre is much more fun.

In Overlord 2, you will try out the role of the new Dark Lord, with whom you will set out to plunder the land and spread evil. Mainly with the help of your chatty and tireless goblin minions.

From the cold glacial cave, your heavy steps will lead you through snowy gorges and along the way you will sow destruction and death around you. Then comes the tropical land of the annoying marijuana elves and their annoying dances. We will also go to the underworld to the dark land of the old, already defeated dark lord. And finally, we will go to massacre the land of our archenemy - the Roman Empire led by Emperor Solarius.
The game takes place in relatively large levels, which are visually very variable and offer constant enjoyment. Although it is a more or less linear experience, it at least gives a sense of freedom.

Overlord II is a successful sequel to the first game. Although there could be at least one new goblin class and more frequent saves. 55%

Overlord 1 & Raising Hell DLC is absolutely better, which is a shame.

You could tell the Devs just didn't get to finish Overlord 2, especially at the end siege. Overlord 1 & Raising Hell DLC lasted me over 40+ hours, yet Overlord 2 wasn't even 20 hours.

Worth a single play through, but absolutely not something I see myself playing again.

Odd, Overlord Dark Legend came out the exact same day & year, yet scored better overall compared to Overlord 2 - will have to try that someday.
