I feel there's no way the speed should be this fast, when I compare it to youtube videos theyre playing sower. Why is this happening? Note:its sped up even with v sync on, off makes it even worse.

I'm all for challenging games. But this game asks for way too much right off the bat. I was raised on NES Ninja Gaiden and such and I still enjoy those kinds of games. I wanna beat the game on normal. I see people say they managed to beat it on normal and that it’s easy, which baffles me. I never grew up with Contra or the NES/SNES/Genesis, so this is new to me.
