No option to sprint or run.
Walking is also incredibly slow.
No quest markers, no character compendium, no information on the location of NPCs. Talking to all the NPCs to find one isn't fun, since the dialogue can't be skipped.
The NPCs are all terrible, either evil or full of problems.

Almost all main and side quests are fetch quests with extra-long paths.
The main quests are also a slog. Instead of combining fetch quests the quests are split up and only activated one after the other.

The three mini-games aren't good either.
The arena and the racing mini-game only have one level. The dance mini-game isn't playable with a controller and can only be played using the numbers 1-4 on the keyboard. Key remapping isn't possible.

If buying this game while thinking it's cute, with a fun story, a bit of action, some entertaining mini-games and nice characters, then no, this game is the opposite.

Very cute game. Lots of charm. Occasionally does a good job juxtaposing the bright vibrant world with sad realities.
Worth playing through if the concept speaks to you.
The pace is a little slow for my taste, and the lack of direction occasionally is unfortunate, but it's nothing deal breaking.

The main mini game, Fruit Bots, has a surprising amount of depth involved. The biggest thing holding it back is the AI not being particularly smart or strategic. Once you figure out a good strategy, the biggest challenge the game throws at ya is forcing you to play a bot you're not used to.

The drifting game has a similar issue, where the puzzle of how to win is tricky to figure out, but once you do, there's no variation. It's easy to mop the floor with all the challengers.

The music game I didn't end up spending a lot of time with, but that's because the controls are garbage on controller. The symbols used to signify when you're supposed to hit a button don't correlate with anything on the controller, and apparently the dev was like "Oh I just use the 1234 keys above WASD."
It's such a huge oversight.

Biggest issue is the all the running around you're forced to do. There's one side quest that's emblematic of the problem. Basically A asks you to get info from person B, person B tells you to relay back to person A, they are 10 ft away from one another, in fact, the running joke is that person B can hear everything person A is telling you to ask, but instead of just calling them over to have the conversation, you're forced to go back and forth way more times than it should have. And the game is very slow about interactions, so you walk to someone, click on them, and then your character has to angle themselves just right before it'll engage.

The game over stays its welcome. The dead air between interesting things adds up over the 6 hours it took me to complete.
Honestly, if the game's movement was a little faster, or if there had been a run button, and interacting with things instantly teleported you to where they wanted you, or at least did it way faster, the game probably would have been a tighter 4 hours.

Still, the story is well told all in all. It's not a complex tale, maybe even a little cliched, but well done.
