The Pros and Cons on this game :
Pros :
1)Awesome Visual

2)Better weapon inspect animation(can inspect ur own hand as well)

3)HUGE improvement on stealth

4)Mod support

5)Fun Gunplay (not the skill)

6)Civillian actually listen and follow u properly

7)Infinite sprinting stamina

8)U CAN SLIDE!! WOW!!! (PD2 can do this with mods btw)

9)Can turn hostage/cops as human shield

10)Various interactive animation which is great

11)Klukai(Credits to my friend who make the mod,u were one of the reason i m touching this game)

AND HERES THE CON :

1)SKILL IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥(for loud only)

2)Stealth skill is OP AF , wut is balance again???

3)Cops AI is dumb af, doze off in middle of heist most of time,REALLY??

4)Allied AI back to being useless just like PDTH (cant even become meatshield)

5)If u say bulldozer on pd3 is scary i suggest u play PDTH

6)Taser gettin bullied (why spawn him alone most of time,he was a support unit ,no??)

7)Cant order AI to stop follow

8)Little to none build variation(half of my play hour on PD2 was me messin around with build and gun)

9)Its 2024 already and u still need wifi??Look at bain on 2013,does he need it?

10)Murky Station was one of my fav stealth on PD2, they have make it so bad and not fun to play at all

11)Very Little amount of RNG on each heist

12)Most of the objective wasnt fun to do at all

13)COD Killstreak implementation(looks like we got a COD fan here)

14)WEAK SERVER(still gettin matchmaking error)

15)Armor 2.0 when???release a map instead lol

16)Sniper cop in PD3 is totally joke and not scary at all (took more than 6sec to shoot)

17)FBI van which Captain Winter replacement was bad,totally defenseless

18)Cloaker was not cloaking anymore (cloaker lifespan when he charge upon player was 0.5-3sec)

19)Gettin shot by sniper doesnt have audio cues(PDTH have it,PD2 have it)

20)Cops weapon swapping(POOR TASER LMFAO)

21)No Melee weapons but only gun butt which have 0 dmg

22)PD3 cloaker is scary???Just stand on the table and he stop charging u

23)Sometimes cloaker spawn from ceiling that doesnt have hole

24)Nader was so bad at his job that from my 100h play time i only get naded once

25)Cops is just bullet sponge, only few gun can negates this issue. Skills?Well,keep dreaming on

26)Drones with 0 tactical knowledge

27)The enemy no longer use smoke grenades

28)The enemy only can use flashbang when they are standing next to door,and they were bad at it(except nader,throws flashbang when theres hostage nearby)

29)Cops has lost their abilities to melee the players except shield and bulldozer...oh right,they will melee u as well if u have human shield

30)No script spawn to delay player on every heist

31)Solo player is suffering (no matter how important a cooperation is in coop game,u should never punish a solo player,i m referring to dyepack for example)

32)NO PREPLANNING AT ALL

CONCLUSION :
-Should u get Payday The Heist?
-Should u get Payday 2??
-Should u get Payday 3???!
=Well,the answer was NEITHER, u better off save your moneh and spend on something more enjoyable(i get the game for free btw)

Totally forgot to write a review closer to its launch but I guess it is also a good time to make a review now.
This game was (and seemingly still is) a blatant cash grab meant to capitalize on the big name of Payday. In almost every way this is inferior to Payday 2. Preplanning is totally absent and less random aspects in general, so every game feels the same. Melee is also been gutted out. The characters still barely talk with each other unlike how they did in the first payday game. Skill builds are watered down to the point it isn't interesting to experiment with different things. The DLC gives not only less stuff, but lower quality. Character and weapon customization is laughable to how poor it is compared to payday 2.

Also, all the updates have been trying to help improve the game and even succeed slightly in some areas. But they are bragging about bringing in all these different features that are just standard features almost every game should have at day 1. Like voice chat and a server browser. Overall, all the new updates and DLC does not interest me enough to make me consider trying it again.

I guess a couple positives are it has a good soundtrack and the actual shooting isn't half bad. But everything else around it is rough.

Overall, I already had trouble trusting Starbreeze and this just solidified to never trust them again no matter what they release. I do not recommend this game even at a discount. Go play the first payday games instead.
