Starting September 1st 2024, Battlefield 1 will utilise EA's own kernel-level anti-cheat, making this game unbootable on Steam Deck/Linux.

I bought this game to play with my friends and EA decided to add thier stupid anti-cheat so they basically executed one of my friends because their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anti-cheat does not run in linux. This should be illegal to do when they basically killed game for him that he paid for.

Well this was last multiplayer game I bought from EA. I would refund it if I could but I can't.

I've spent 14 hours trying to have a single moment of fun in multiplayer and it's impossible. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate all of you. I want my 2 dollars back I spent on this garbage.
