It is the year 1492, it is the era of the Renaissance. Now work has a value of religious redemption. There is no space for healthy men living as parasites relying on the charitable spirit of others.

The Church had it clear for two hundred years. With canon 32 of the Council of Lyons II, it had even established the suppression of mendicant Orders with the sole exception of Dominicans and Franciscan Friars Minor.

Now the problem is urgent to be solved.

The masses of the new poor, the landowners ousted by the rising bourgeoisie, have to pull up their sleeves and find an honest occupation.

There is only one inconvenience: how to distinguish the pilgrim from the vagabond?

It is the Confraternity of pilgrims of Rome to give the answer: ”The true pilgrim is the one who will have an official license, issued by a confessor”.

Another clear example of how the Church is in control of absolutely everything…

It's time for a Summary of the May development process. It was a very busy month, we focused on character development, in terms of graphics models, personality, and story.

Summary of Pope's May developement:
- 10 new story characters in 3D
- Full voiceover for main story character conversations for Prologue and Chapter I.
- System for buying and unlocking artifacts with collected influence (in-game currency)
- Updated screens and menu functions in the game

Last time you saw detailed insides of Vatican City, now we would like to share with you first look at the architecture of Holy City.

We do our best to make city architecture as close as it was at the turn of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. We are happy with the results of these hours of work, and we are sure that exploring the Holy City will be a very good experience

We are very sorry for being so quiet the last couple of weeks. It was a time of hard, but satisfying, work. The game is getting bigger and bigger every week, we have amazing actors and developers joining our team, and we feel that it will be the most ambitious project that any of us ever made.

Last time we showed you a very early version of the Sistine Chapel. now this location is almost ready and looks amazing. It will be one of the most important places in the upcoming Prologue version of the game that you will be able to experience later this year.

PS. This guy on this and other gifs isn't a main hero of the game. It's just a placeholder for now. We will share the looks of a couple of important characters in few weeks.

Not only the interiors of Holy City are getting prettier, but also the surroundings and NPC, it will be a nice looking area full of tight streets, busy alleys, and history accurate eye-catching tenement houses and churches.

Also, we made these dancing ladies, because why not.

Hello The Pope: Power & Sin community!

It's time for first in 2021 The Pope: Power & Sin development update.

Today we would like to introduce you to a couple of voice actors that will bring The Pope: Power & Sin characters to life. We focused on conveying what we believe the characters should sound like to fully reflect their character.


Tomaso Thellung de Courtelary is an actor and theater producer. He is the funder Artistic Director of The International Theatre, in 1994. He has acted as an actor in numerous performances, fiction, and film. For two years he also works as a speaker for audiobooks.

In his vast experience, he already played Rodrigo de Borja in the well-received play "Voce di Dio" (also called "Processo a Dio") that touched on the sermons of Savonarola (played by such stars as Massimo Wertmuller and Ennio Coltorti).


Vito Buchicchio is an Italian actor, voice actor, singer, and model. Vito starred in several Italian TV series such as "Don Matteo 10" and "Non è stato mio figlio,". He also participated in the creation of over 10 theater plays as an actor and assistant director.


Anna Gallarati is an Italian native speaker and multilingual dubbing actress, singer, translator, and adaptor.

Attended dubbing and theater schools in Germany, Spain, and Italy, is also specialized in different vocals techniques. Since 2017, she is collaborating with studios all around the world for any kind of dubbing and voice over projects, which are to see on Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, such as audiobooks on the best platforms such as Audible, Storytel, and others.

These are the first of many actors that you will hear (and see) in the final product. Stay tuned for more info in the upcoming weeks.

We are happy to say that works on The Pope: Power & Sin are going fine and according to plan, but there is still plenty of time to release day.

By playing our hero, Dorian Morris, the player follows the tracks left by his grandfather, a famous traveler. Experience amazing adventures, solve puzzles and tasks, in which the competence analysis mechanism is weaved into. Dorian Morris Adventure is not only an entertaining experience but also mind training and a powerful dose of practical and useful knowledge in life.
During the game, the player deals with puzzles, situations, and tasks, which shape one's competencies.

Based on the collected data in the course of the game, each player at the end receives a description of one's professional predispositions.

We hope you all doing well and healthy! It's time for next The Pope: Power & Sin developement update.

We are pleased to tell you that work is going ahead as planned. Currently, we are working hard on making our Renaissance Vatican as big and real as it's possible.

In the upcoming weeks, we will focus on building the next important parts of Holy City, as well as story and character development.

Our main goal is to make the Vatican interesting and alive.

Fun fact: the Sistine Chapel cannot be photographed inside due to a contract signed with ... Japanese TV. In the years 1980-1994, a very expensive renovation took place in the chapel, which was funded by the Asian broadcaster - Nippon. In return, the Japanese were given a monopoly to take pictures of the temple and Michelangelo's unusual frescoes that we can find inside. Despite this, every year thousands of tourists from other parts of the world publish photos from the chapel on social media.
