Maybe I missed it in the credits, but was this poem originally written elsewhere?

would be really nice to see an increase in mouse sensitivity and inverted y-axis having trouble playing the game without these.. having to push the trackball a dozen times to turn 90 degrees

If you begin a game and deliberately eat every single ground level block in the wrong order, finally eating the intended block last, you create a softlock. After the poem stanza, the TV never spawns another block to eat. (This was on a second playthrough -- my first playthrough I followed the obvious intent of the game, and yes I am a huge idiot)...
