For reference for those that are newly discovering this store page and might be wondering why the game as a 90% overall review score and 40% recent: for some reason the dev removed coop and multiplayer from the game. Dont know why but people are mad.

So if you're getting this to play with a friend turn around but if you are looking for single player experience then I highly recommend you try Golden Light. Its a terrifying and creepy roguelike with an equally strange story to uncover that you can definitely sink a few hours into just trying to figure out wtf is happening or what youre looking at. But once you start to crack this game and figure out its mechanics it really opens up.

BIG NOTE. No Co-op in the game. at-least for now. but the game is literally amazing. I don't know why the dev didn't update that for the storepage. But the game is still really fun without it. I was shocked to see mostly negative reviews only for the lack of co-op, but thats simply a mistake on branding. everything else about the game is still good. the co-op was buggy af to begin with.

The game is still fun alone. It was made that way originally. its a single player horror Roguelike. lots to enjoy from its crazy environment and its nothing i've ever seen before. getting to know this game truly feels insane. One day you question why you would make yourself get poison and rust damage. And later you'll be regularly using that to power through tough monsters. don't let one missing feature stop you from trying. it didn't stop me (i had no friends to play this to begin with) the game is too interesting to skip just because it lacks co-op. its amazing in literally every other way

Removed co-op? What? Why? You guys suck!
